| I have had the privilege to teach at Sunland Elementary for the past 6 out of the 25 years I've been an educator. I love teaching first grade and seeing students become fluent readers! I have a BA in Child Development, Masters in Education with an Option in Reading, Reading Specialist Credential, and National Board Certified in December 2019. It was an intense process, but it helped me become a much better teacher by being reflective in my instruction, implementing first quality instruction, and small group instruction where I am able to differentiate to reach the diverse learning needs of my students. I love working at Sunland Elementary in partnership with colleagues, students, and parents to help students achieve their full academic potential. |
