Kindergarten

Hello and welcome! My name is Ms. Morton, and I am excited to be a kindergarten teacher who is passionate about creating a positive and engaging learning environment for all students. I earned my Master’s degree in Social Emotional Learning, which has strengthened my belief that children learn best when they feel supported, valued, and connected.

I believe every child has the ability to succeed and thrive. In my classroom, students learn through hands-on experiences, project-based learning, and the use of technology to encourage creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking. I strive to make learning meaningful, fun, and interactive each day.

In addition to building strong academic foundations, I believe in fostering compassionate, thoughtful, and responsible citizens. I encourage kindness, collaboration, creativity, and curiosity so that every child develops confidence in themselves and respect for others.

Teaching kindergarten is a joy, and I look forward to partnering with families to help every child learn, grow, and thrive.
